Hello, I'm Shivani,

 

A food researcher, storyteller and creative practitioner based in Bangalore, India. My work explores the intersection of food, people, and place—and how they shape identity, culture, and systems at large.

 

My practice is investigative and collaborative. Through fieldwork, observation, dialogue, and sensory exploration, I approach food as both an anchor to heritage and a bridge to evolving ways of life.

 

Over the past decade, my work has taken me through kitchens, farms, breweries, small businesses, FMCG brands and food media platforms, giving me a panoramic perspective on Indian foodscapes across grassroots realities and larger industry shifts. She applies this to bring creative and impactful food projects to life.

 

When she isn’t working (and sometimes when she is), Shivani can be found solving puzzles, binge-listening to podcasts, or learning about pop culture and art.
