I was invited to contribute to the repository of Food Forward India, a platform by Chef Garima Arora that aims to document the culinary diversity of India. I contributed photo and video content about the food culture of Kutch, Gujarat, including the arid agriculture techniques and traditional foraging practices of this desert region, its cultural diversity and the nuanced differences in the ways different communities eat. I also shared my observations of the salt harvest methods used in the white desert, the salt flats of Kutch, which produce a significant portion of India's table salt.
