In the face of a rapidly evolving industry, many young professionals like myself have sought guidance and mentorship to navigate alternative or emerging careers in F&B, with limited formal resources for the same. To address this gap, in 2020 I conceptualises, coordinated and hosted an interview podcast on Instagram TV (IGTV) called The Food Web: Mapping Careers in the Food Industry.
The series spanned 27 episodes between July and August 2020, in which I interviewed over 20 prominent F&B professionals from my network about their jobs and how they navigated their career paths. Guests included the Food Editor of Condé Nast Traveler India, India’s first certified Chocolate Taster, and the Founder of Third Wave Coffee, India’s fastest growing café chain, and more. The series has accumulated over 15,000 views and counting.
